Chia Tuck Ming

Tuck Ming is an inspiring artist whose special needs have shaped his unique perspective on life. Diagnosed with a Learning difficulty and disability, he has overcome challenges with perseverance and creativity. Beyond art, he actively gives back to his community as a Citizen on Patrol with the Singapore Police Force and a Community First Responder with the SCDF. His dedication to both art and service reflects his resilience and determination.

Tuck Ming’s artistic journey began in 2016 when his painting of a his pet rabbit was unexpectedly sold at a Special Needs Art Exhibition. Encouraged by this milestone, he honed his craft and developing a whimsical style that blends heartfelt storytelling with charming imagery.

His work is deeply personal, often featuring rabbits and animals as cherished companions. His signature piece, Rabbit Drinking Bubble Tea, reflects his playful spirit, while his pasar (market) series captures the lively essence of his daily surroundings. Through art, Tuck Ming celebrates the beauty of everyday life, proving that creativity knows no limits and that challenges can become opportunities with heart and determination.
