Samuel Wong
Samuel is a 16-year-old artist with moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD Level 3). He is a cheerful and creative individual who finds joy and self-expression through his art. Samuel has a strong interest in sustainable practices, which is reflected in his hands-on projects, such as crafting eco-friendly products like orange eco enzyme and soap. His love for art and creativity extends into his weekend art classes, which have become a key part of his routine.
Art Journey:
Samuel’s artistic journey began in early childhood, where painting rainbows with watercolors and oil pastels became a source of joy and relief in his life. Diagnosed with ASD at the age of five, Samuel attended AWWA School, where he received specialized education that nurtured both his personal growth and artistic talent. Over time, his passion for art blossomed, and he transitioned from creating rainbows to experimenting with dynamic landscapes and contemporary animal art.
His favorite colors have evolved, from mixing primary colors to create brown, to developing a fondness for purple, and now, enjoying shades of green and yellow. Art continues to serve as an essential outlet for Samuel to explore his emotions, express his creativity, and bring his colorful visions to life on canvas.
