Joseph Lin

Joseph is a young artist with a unique perspective, channeling his creativity into vibrant and expressive artworks. Diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, Tourette Syndrome, and Moderate Intellectual Disability, he has found art to be a powerful means of self-expression. His works often reflect his personal interests, including Singapore's architecture, iconic landmarks, and his deep fascination with hotels ranging from three-star to five-star establishments. Greatly inspired by Vincent van Gogh, Joseph enjoys incorporating bold colors and expressive strokes into his paintings, bringing movement and energy to his work.

Music plays a significant role in his creative process—light music and piano compositions help him feel at ease while painting. Beyond art, Joseph finds joy in cycling, unicycling, and swimming, activities that bring him relaxation and balance.

Artistic Journey

Joseph’s artistic journey began at the age of five when he started doodling and exploring colors freely. Over time, his passion for art deepened, and it became an essential part of his self-discovery and expression. His lessons provide him with a sense of happiness and freedom, allowing him to explore themes that resonate with him.

While he has not yet verbally expressed a strong attachment to his own artworks, his dedication and engagement in the creative process speak volumes. His paintings capture movement, energy, and emotion, offering a glimpse into his unique way of perceiving the world.

Through art, Joseph continues to explore his passions, turning his observations into expressive and captivating visual narratives.
