Muhammad Naufal

Muhammad Naufal is a 15-year-old student at Pathlight School with a deep passion for creativity and the arts. Diagnosed with mild autism at the age of three, he has never let it define his potential; instead, it has given him a unique perspective and a profound connection to his art. Though nonverbal, Naufal expresses himself powerfully through his artwork, which often features his favorite subjects, from cartoon characters and human facial features to bold, vibrant designs.

He is drawn to striking primary and secondary colors, using them to bring energy and life to his creations. At Pathlight, he has flourished in a nurturing environment that fosters artistic growth and inclusivity. Art is not just a hobby for him—it is his sanctuary, a source of joy, excitement, and calm.

Art Journey

Naufal’s artistic journey is one of exploration and self-expression. Beyond painting, he enjoys creating DIY masks, folding origami, and attending pottery classes, always eager to experiment with new mediums. When upset, he turns to creative activities for comfort, finding peace in the process of making something with his hands.

Inspired by Singapore’s iconic landmarks such as Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and Jewel Changi Airport, he dreams of sharing his creativity with the world. With every completed piece, his eyes light up with pride, reflecting his passion and dedication.
Through his art, Naufal hopes to share his unique perspective and bring joy to others.
